Maria (Candy) Chavez

Maria Chavez is currently the Memory Care Director and Sunnyside Gardens. Maria started working as a Med-Tech and worked her way up to Memory Care Director in a short time span. According to Maria caring for our elderly is rewarding and its life changing. She finds purpose in understanding each person’s unique interests, desires and empowerment and the provision of support to preserve each person’s dignity, independence, and autonomy. Maria wants to ensure residents receive the best care and have a positive experience. In her free time, she likes shopping and spending time with her family!
