Ronnel came from humble beginnings. In his early years, as a son of a single mother who adores cooking, he spent most of his time learning and preparing Filipino cuisines. Ronnel studied Engineering in College, but his passion and interest for cooking grew stronger as time went on, so he decided to pursue his career in cooking. After 16 years of working in the Philippines, he moved to the United States, where he began working as a line cook at an Assisted Living and then as a cook at a luxurious Country Club. Ronell has been with Sunnyside Gardens for 5 years, he recently got promoted to Dining Room Director! Ronnell is passionate about working with seniors and providing Residents at Sunnyside Gardens with nutritious, well-balanced and flavorful meals!
